The Pilgrims Affairs Office of Ghana (PAOG) has officially opened its online recruitment portal for qualified medical personnel interested in serving on the Hajj 2026 Medical Team.

The announcement, issued on February 3, 2026, invites eligible health professionals—particularly nurses and clinical staff—to apply to support healthcare delivery for Ghanaian pilgrims during the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage.


Supporting Healthcare Delivery During Hajj

According to PAOG, the Hajj Medical Team is responsible for providing comprehensive medical support throughout the pilgrimage. This includes:

  • Diagnosis and treatment of illnesses
  • Preventive healthcare services
  • Emergency medical response
  • Ensuring patient safety and high clinical standards
  • Promoting the overall health and well-being of pilgrims

Medical personnel selected for the team will work in a high-demand, mass-gathering health environment, requiring professionalism, teamwork, cultural sensitivity, and strong clinical judgement.

  • Medical Doctors
