These experiences have resonated with many Ghanaians. While some have called for an overhaul of Ghana’s healthcare system, others suggests lawsuits as the panacea to incidents of negligence.

Ghanaians have over the last two days taken to social media to share their versions of horrific experiences while accessing hospitals. Social media platforms such as Twitter have been awash with accounts of alleged negligence.

Joey says his mum “complained of sleepless night yesterday and I was really worried.”
