The Mental Health Authority(MHA) has announced to the general public a line up of activities to commemorate the 2016 Mental Health Day which falls on October 10.
The day is expected to be marked with a National week long celebration from the 9th to the 16th of October, in partnership with the WHO, UKAID and other allied health groups.
This years celebration is under the theme “Dignity in Mental Health; Psychological & Mental Health First AID For All.”

The Mental Health Authority calls on all to join this year’s Mental Health Week celebrations to promote social and emotional wellbeing of our communities, educate the citizenry to be aware of the effect of mental disorders on their wellbeing and enhance the coping capacity of individuals and families in our societies.
